17.01.2022 2020. What a crazy year. The hospitality industry took a big hit this year, us included. Despite the pandemic we've still been able to produce some awesome brew...s which you've loved - thanks so much for your support! Here's some of our many highlights: Back in April, Joel chatted with the crew @coolroompodcast with fans joining the virtual front bar to enjoy some Venom beers. We received heaps of love from @carwyncellars Quarantinnies Craft Beer Companion Box during lockdown with our collab brew, Hazy Double Golden Ale, kicking off the session. Tim @justbeercos hosted a beer swag day @districtbottlestore sampling a couple of brews and giving away some beer and beanies. Thanks Ilya for representing Venom. Plenty of Venom beanies were flying across the countryside. There were many virtual pub nights during lockdown - loved seeing your photos! Our collab with @deedsbrewing returned for a second innings and the venomous Viper Pit made a comeback, still as popular as ever. Our new DDH Golden Ale dropped in September, celebrated with a Shit ISO Haircut competition resulting in @mulletpourn claiming top spot and scoring a slab of DDH. October brought a unique collab with mates @coburgbrewingco with our Portello Imperial Sour. This was enormously popular and sold out super fast. We are working our hardest to bring it back early next year. Roll on into December, out of lockdown, restrictions easing, everyone getting back on the beers and into the pubs and finishing off the year with our Illusion Shaker Imperial Sour - what a treat!! Glad it's brought back some old school memories for you all! And you guys and chicks - THANK YOU for buying our beer, drinking our beer, and enjoying our beer! We're blown away by your support and look forward to releasing some new brews in 2021!! We will be glad to see the back of 2020 and look forward to sharing more Venom brews with you in 2021.
