25.01.2022 Whilst all our children were on holidays we were able to finally carry out the project of replacing our much repaired, 55 year old roof. The great team from Garden City Roofing had beautiful weather that enabled them to remove and replace the original roof sheeting. Working with them to refit our air conditioning units were BNR Refrigeration & Air Conditioning We'd like to thank the guys from both of these local businesses for their expertise in getting this job done in a short time frame, ready for the commencement of Term 3.
25.01.2022 The appropriate words can help us all.

23.01.2022 We welcomed our wonderfully talented Kindy photographer, Angela from Belle Images to kindy today for our first day of Kindy Photos! As always, Angela has a fabulous ability to get the best smile from all our children whilst enjoying our outdoor environment.

17.01.2022 How quickly our children grow! A lovely message we received today. Thank you for sharing this fabulous milestone. Lisa Gore Thought I would send you this photo of Tom Field and Lucy Gore finishing at Downlands today. They started their journey together at Kindy at Vera Lacaze and continued onto Bunkers Hill and then onto Downlands together. Thank you Vera Lacaze for giving us the opportunity to meet the Fields. Cheers, Lisa Gore
15.01.2022 Today is EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATORS DAY! To help celebrate our wonderful educators, some of our lovely families provided us with some delicious buns and biscuits for morning tea. Very thoughtful! Another family who attended Kindy last year returned this morning especially to bring all our educators lunch! What a generous and kind gesture? Ashish Vashisht
14.01.2022 From all the staff and management committee at Vera Lacaze Kindy, we would like to wish our wonderful families a very relaxed and well deserved Winter break. We'd would also like to thank all our parents for their care and understanding during what could have been a difficult term, with all the changes to our daily routines as a result of the COVID-19 restrictions. We hope that these restrictions will be able to be eased a little when we return in Term 3. In the meantime enjoy your holidays and we look forward to seeing everyone back refreshed for an exciting Term 3.

11.01.2022 A huge shout out to Pro-tow toowoomba for donating their services, firstly to relocate our container to enable our shed build and then returning to take the container away once it was emptied. Thanks also to our volunteer maintenance officer, Adam Skinner for is coordination & project management.
10.01.2022 Another project that we are happy to say is underway, is the replacement of the container in our staff car park, which was meant to be our 'temporary' storage facility. Yesterday the guys from Totalspan Toowoomba prepared and poured a slab to construct our new storage shed. Keep an eye out for further progress posts ....
07.01.2022 As restrictions in our environment are being lifted we are welcoming parents into the classrooms whilst maintaining adult social distancing. It's great to see children continuing to display confidence and independence gained during the restricted access period. We thank our families for supporting their children in this development.
