Atelier Crafers definitely deliver the goods with their gorgeous food, beautiful art gallery and gift shop. They even have a cosy wood fire. 13.01.2022 Playing around with water colours. Water colours are a new concept for me as I usually use acrylic paints or more commonly, digital art. Being so use to acrylics, it has been really interesting trying to use water colours and getting out of the acrylic head space, its fascinating how different they really are! ... I am keen to learn more about water colours and get different techniques down pat. 08.01.2022 This afternoon has been watercolour pencil time! I recently sparked an interest in watercolour pencils. I love how you have both a watercolour effect and coloured pencil effect. They are also fantastic for blending and gradients as you can easily build on top (once it has dried of course) Here is this afternoons attempt.. Im still working out how these work exactly so theres plenty of mistakes and still a lot of work to be done to perfect it. #watercolourpencils #afternoonartsession #create

07.01.2022 All the tape has been peeled, the next and final step is to varnish. Overall, I am happy with the result so far all things considered for a first attempt. However there are a lot of improvements that need to be made :) Its been a lot of fun learning how to use different mediums and materials.
