25.01.2022 I’ve just finished an album for Tanya and Chris. They were married under the huge gum tree at Barn1890. It was a small, intimate wedding of about 50 guests so at the ceremony they were able to have the chairs in a circle with the aisle down the centre. It worked fabulously, especially for us as the photographers because we were able to get all the reactions from guests during the very entertaining ceremony! They included a lot of those photos in their wedding album. Chris’ o...nly request was photos of him and his car and wife ready for a wall print in the new year. Tanya was one of the most thoughtful brides we have seen. It was allll about everyone else. If they were happy, she was happy. 23.01.2022 Yesterday afternoon, Alicia and Brendan were married! It was despite all the odds. COVID-19 did its thing and tossed their arrangements around at every turn. On top of that, Renmark's forecast was the hottest Spring day recorded at 46 degrees with a dust storm to boot! This remarkable couple jumped every hurdle and Alicia walked down the aisle in her stunning Adelaide Bridal Emporium gown, looking so radiant and gorgeous. Congratulations! Your love won through!

18.01.2022 It's been 10 years since my brother Caleb died suddenly from an aneurysm of the aortic valve while doing his usual 5 km jog. He was 31, and I had spoken to him that morning. The last thing he said to me was "Have a nice time in Vanuatu with the Dodsons". We had our bags packed and at the front door ready to fly to Vanuatu the next morning when my sister Grace came to tell me the devastating news. We never got to Vanuatu. Instead, we (the siblings - Dad and Mum overseas) flew ...to Sydney to say goodbye. He was our baby brother, and we adored him. Everyone's friend and lots of people talk about him still, which I love. I have learnt a lot from the experience and sadness. The grief still lives in my heart, and I have some "what if" moments at unexpected times, but I'm thankful. Thankful to be able to call him my brother. Thankful for such good memories. Thankful for his example. Thankful Kate and the girls are doing so well. Thankful for all my family. Thankful for the hope we have. We got together Tuesday night at Lenzeheide Restaurant to share some memories and tonight all the kids will join us for a picnic. See more

17.01.2022 It might be pouring with rain today but three years ago it was a magic sunny day. The pear trees were in full blossom @Bremer farm and Joe and Natalie filled our hearts with happiness with their obvious love for each other. Such a beautiful day!

15.01.2022 I have wanted to do a country urban photoshoot ever since I did a couple of Port Adelaide urban family photoshoots earlier this year. Jamin and Alice's engagement shoot starting on Mylor's main road was just the thing. We were able to get the urban look in their collection as well as the country field look - perfect combo with these incredibly sweet two!

09.01.2022 Sometimes it’s nice to choose a spot for your family photos that brings back good memories. This family hike up Mt Lofty Summit each year, so it was the perfect place to spend an hour taking photos of their family being in one of their happy places.

09.01.2022 Not sure if this is the right place to report but I’m desperate! We’ve had two large dogs get on to our property this morning, they’ve attacked and injured one ...of my alpacas, two others are missing. One white and a smaller brown and white. We live on River Rd halfway between Hahndorf and Mylor. If anyone has seen them could you please contact me on 0412293114. The dogs have now been retrieved by their owner and I’m waiting for the vet for the injured Alpaca. See more

08.01.2022 Well, that's it for now hey! Who would have thought things could happen this quick?! Lockdown with no walking seems crazy to me and I hope that changes soon. Meanwhile, I'm so thankful we are getting onto this early and nipping it in the bud. Tough times for so many enough. Pleased to get this family photoshoot in before the lockdown. How adorable are they!
