23.01.2022 Thanks to the @uni_newcastle @heartfulcoaching @lauren.eyles partnering with Verity Leadership to deliver a career strategy, vision and goal setting workshop. The event was wrapped up with a talk from Dr Eileen Doyle which was such a privilege. It was a great group of WiMBAs (Women in MBAs) who were joined by other fantastic business leaders. 19.01.2022 The University of Newcastles Faculty of Business and Law is proud to be working with Verity Leadership and Heartful Coaching to host a half day Career Strategy and Goal Setting workshop aimed at mid to senior managers, looking to devote time to clarify their leadership vision and direction for the next 12 months. Each attendee will walk away with an achievable goal setting action plan for 2020. This workshop will be facilitated by two successful UON and Hunter Leaders Dr Kir...sten Molloy and Lauren Eyles. The event is free, although tickets are limited. Workshop attendees will be joined by Women in Master of Business Administration (WiMBA) Scholarship holders. The WIMBA initiative aims to redress the gender equity imbalance by offering scholarships to female students in partnership with leading organisations. WiMBA provides the leadership skills and strategic perspective to move female employees into senior management and executive positions. 16.01.2022 There were so many great takeaways from the recent Verity Leadership 2019 CEO Champions of Change event But there is one thing that has really stuck. DONT ...GLORIFY LEADERSHIP! Having Leadership as the Holy Grail of career progression, can lead to the wrong people in the wrong role, for the wrong reasons. Its really easy to undervalue the highly skilled technical employees simply because they would not make great leaders of people.
