24.01.2022 #SpinalHealthWeek 2020 is here! This year's theme, Consider a Chiro - My Chiro, My Action Plan on Pain is focused on educating Australians about chiropractic. Together let's ask Australians to #ConsiderAChiro for their back pain, neck pain and headaches. www.considerachiro.org.au

23.01.2022 #WorkingFromHome tip 6: At the end of your work day, take a tech break by going for a walk outside, cooking a meal, reading a book or starting a new hobby. www.workingfromhome.org.au

22.01.2022 #WorkingFromHome tip 2: Just like you would if you were going into work every day, set up a daily routine. Wake up at the same time everyday, eat meals regularly and set aside time to exercise. www.workingfromhome.org.au

21.01.2022 Dear Patients, Under Victorian State Government Stage 4 restrictions, we are currently only allowed to provide chiropractic care to patients with a referral from their General Practitioner or Medical Specialist. As such, we are operating on a very limited appointment basis and request that you please call the clinic on 98863000 and leave a message with your details. We will contact you back as soon as possible to discuss options. ... Patients with appointments already booked will be contacted by clinic staff directly in the coming days. We apologise for any inconvenience caused and are working closely with the Victorian State Government to seek further clarification regarding access to essential Allied Health Care. We thank you for your understanding.

19.01.2022 Hi Everybody!! Over the past few days we have been trying to keep up to date with the ever-changing information regarding what Stage 4 restrictions mean for Allied Health Care. Fortunately Chiropractic care is able to remain open but under very strict guidelines which are focused on saving and protecting the lives of all Victorians through restricting non-essential movement across the state for the next six weeks... Please read below for specific information: KEY POINTS: 1. NO REFERRAL REQUIRED Patients do not need a medical referral to see their chiropractor. 2. ROUTINE CARE IS NOT PERMITTED Care must only be provided if the absence of, or delay of this care, would result in a significant change or deterioration in the patient's functional independence necessitating escalation of care. Examples provided by the DHHS of when it is appropriate for care to be provided include the following: 1. To avoid a requirement for specialist input/review 2. To avoid an increase in care needs and/or alternate accommodation 3. To avoid a hospital admission or emergency department presentation. For this reason, care should only be provided if it is considered ‘essential’ for the next 6 weeks and where not receiving care is likely to lead to a significant deterioration in the health or well-being of the patient. In all other circumstances we must not see a patient for a face-to-face consultation. This is a legal requirement. All patients with upcoming appointments will be contacted by clinic staff directly to discuss options and we kindly request that you reschedule your appointment if you do not meet the stated criteria. Please remember that masks are absolutely necessary for your appointment and you will continue to have your temperature checked upon arrival. Thank you for your patience and understanding through these strange and difficult times.

18.01.2022 Ever had a headache that has stopped you from doing the things you love? Because headaches are so common, most people think they're a normal part of life. If you’re a constant sufferer it could be time to try something new. Chiropractors use specific, gentle spinal adjustments to help alleviate headaches and can also provide lifestyle advice on helping to prevent their reoccurrence. Why not #ConsiderAChiro www.considerachiro.org.au

15.01.2022 #WorkingFromHome tip 1: If you don't have a separate study in your home, setting up your office on the kitchen table can be a great alternative. Just remember to bring your ergonomic chair to the table and sit with your shoulders back and relax, with either both feet on the floor or on a foot rest. www.workingfromhome.org.au

12.01.2022 #WorkingFromHome tip 4: Make sure to stay connected to friends, family and colleagues during this time, by having virtual video meetings, or casual chats to check in with one another. If you're using a phone to video chat, make sure to bring the phone up to eye-level and sit on a supportive chair to help support your posture. www.workingfromhome.org.au

07.01.2022 #WorkingFromHome tip 3: Working off a laptop? Bring the laptop to eye level by using a separate mouse and keyboard and elevating the laptop so you can sit with your shoulders back, and posture straight. www.workingfromhome.org.au

05.01.2022 Did you know that Australian chiropractors are government registered and regulated, and undergo a minimum of five years of university study. This #SpinalHealthWeek why not #ConsiderAChiro as part of your action plan on pain! www.considerachiro.org.au

01.01.2022 #WorkingFromHome tip 5: While working at home, make sure to take a quick break every 30 minutes, by getting up and moving.
