03.01.2022 I know there’s no single silver bullet to fix the housing crisis. But it's not right that Canberra has the lowest proportion of community housing of any jurisd...iction. This type of housing provides affordable rental for low income people and the shortage of it is placing extra pressure on an already tight housing market. The long-awaited Housing Strategy is an opportunity for the Government to deliver a long-term vision for housing access in our Territory, including community housing solutions. This opportunity must not be squandered.
