25.01.2022 Lot 92 is on sale now! Snap up a great investment if you can!

24.01.2022 Were excited and proud to be the first machines on the ground for this mammoth project. Being there at the start of a new thing is always good, and the Lynas refinery will be great for Kalgoorlie.

24.01.2022 TL05. Off to work tomorrow.

24.01.2022 New big rig is nearly ready to go to work. The more I look at this Hino the more I like it.

24.01.2022 Nephew Charlie will learn about digging holes the proper way eventually. Mastering the cup is the first step

21.01.2022 I cant wait any longer. I picked up our new clearing rig yesterday and even though it still needs to get stickers, here are a couple of photos.

21.01.2022 We are looking for someone to be the Loader Operator! Experience in a production loader role is a requirement of the job, but there is so much more to this position than just going hard in the little scoop...we do something different every day and we all operate every machine in the fleet. If you or someone you know wants to try something new, get in touch by sending your resume to [email protected] . Help me out by sharing this post. *Also, if you currently reside in Zambia, you will have to relocate to Kalgoorlie before you apply. Just a heads up. Thanks everyone!

20.01.2022 Getting new people on site is the most stressful thing about this whole business. Ive been dreaming about rosters and CME checks. Thanks for listening.

20.01.2022 Im pretty excited today, new tools have been delivered to the yard. Now, if only I had a new machine to bolt them to...

18.01.2022 The 863 is going in to the heart specialist. So convenient having engine experts next door!

18.01.2022 The People & Culture Office are looking for our next star recruit...so much easier than looking myself

18.01.2022 Thanks for sharing everyone, Ive found a new operator. We are always recruiting though, so skilled plant operators should still get in touch by emailing a resume to [email protected]. Are there any skilled plant operators looking for work in Kalgoorlie? I need someone who -... * Lives in Kalgoorlie * Has an HC truck licence * Has genuine experience operating Bobcats and excavators on civil worksites * Is able to work away from home occasionally (mine sites) * Can pass a drug screen, medical and background check. * Non-smokers preferred. Unfortunately we cannot take any learners on right now, only skilled operators. This job needs someone energetic and fit, willing to work hard unsupervised and adapt to changes in the work "plan". We pay above average hourly rates, and this job is Monday-Friday with occasional Saturdays. Great gear, with the opportunity to get experience in some unusual machines. If you or someone you know would fit this job like a glove, email a resume to [email protected] or contact us through our website www.vphc.com.au.

17.01.2022 Jamie and Benny heading north to cut some drill pads in rocky ground this morning.

17.01.2022 General freight and storage...not a specialty

16.01.2022 Our new little loader went to work for the first time today. Early days yet, but it feels good and looks the part.

16.01.2022 Nothing better than a razor sharp new bucket on a brand new machine. Just a pleasure to operate

16.01.2022 And here’s another thing we’re proud of! Go Team!

15.01.2022 Not a lot of spare room at the old yard getting some essential maintenance done in the down time. Cant wait to send it all back to work next week. Happy New Year everyone, and to all our friends who live in areas on fire at the moment all around the country, be safe and good luck.

14.01.2022 10 years in business today! I find it hard to believe how far Versatile Plant Hire & Contracting has grown, from the heart-stopping risk of buying one little S130 Bobcat to the 20+ machines and trucks we have now, and thinking about the plans I have for the next few years. I have so much gratitude to the clients and employees who have supported me and helped to push us along. Thanks everyone for your support!

13.01.2022 Kalgoorlie’s a great town to live in. Stable industry and employment, affordable real estate coupled with salaries that make owning your house realistic, freedom to move around and live your life, and employment options without having to fly in and out. What you make of the opportunities here is up to you; people who tell you Kal is no fun to live in probably didn’t try very hard to make it their home. movetokal.com.au. Check the website out.

13.01.2022 I look like a frog because the sun, but otherwise a great post from Resources Trading. New diesel powered compressor with 20kg grease pot and air line, in a frame with fork tubes and a lifting point, ready to go to a remote site and make maintenance so much easier for the boys in the bush! Thanks to Neil, The Chad and Chris at NJ Industries for the steelwork, too. Ross Wharton

12.01.2022 We also do roadworks and civils. #driveadeereaday

12.01.2022 Nothing beats taking all the clean gear out for a Sunday drive... a tipper with a Bobcat in the back is my kind of expensive supercar!

12.01.2022 Santas sleigh, loaded up and ready to roll.

12.01.2022 Santa came early this year for Versatile Plant Hire & Contracting. Were excited to put this beast to work in 2020. Merry Christmas everyone!

11.01.2022 Even in uncertain times such as these, we are still investing in the best machinery available. Check out the latest addition to the Versatile fleet!

07.01.2022 A2D Mining & Civil looking good

07.01.2022 Small mining fleet available for immediate mobilisation. Or large landscaping fleet ...depends how you look at it.

05.01.2022 Everyone is affected by mental health in some way, either directly or indirectly. Here are some locals who are fundraising in a creative way to support the Black Dog Institute and try to focus some attention on mental health in the mining industry. Ive chipped in a little, and I might even join them for the Kal-Coolgardie leg in September. Bravo Todd, Charlotte, Pearl and Sally.

05.01.2022 Cutting a long trench with the earth saw today and tomorrow. If youre driving past on Yarri Road toot and wave!

02.01.2022 Brilly are a great example of a Kalgoorlie based business building a great reputation for high quality work. Their growth is evidence that they're doing it right. I love to see local businesses succeed, especially when they're my mates.

02.01.2022 In between the big jobs we do little jobs too. Give us a call if you have a need for some backyard grunt!

01.01.2022 Simone and The People & Culture Office have been working with us to recruit new people and retain the great people we have. 10/10 would recommend!
