02.01.2022 Farmers and environmental groups have received the necessary kits for next weeks rabbit virus release, with the rollout of the Korean strain of RHDV1 (aka cali...civirus) set to begin from March 1. It will be the first time in more than 20 years that a new rabbit biocontrol agent has been launched in Australia. After many years of testing and research through the Invasive Animals Cooperative Research Centre RHD Boost project, K5 will be released at more 600 sites covering all states and territories.
