24.01.2022 Hey Rockers! Just wanted to let you know what Vertex is doing to fight against COVID, and to keep it’s patrons feeling comfortable using the space and minimise the risk of spread. There’s a sanitiser at the top of the stairs on the handrail, I’d ask all people coming up to utilise it. There’s also a hand sanitiser next to the kit, when making adjustments, use it. This way, the only thing is yourself and your guitar and bass that could be the catalyst for spread.... And if you don’t feel well, please don’t come in. Once a week I sanitise all surfaces and dials on amps etc, good for peace of mind with the thought that everyone else is doing their little bit too. Stay safe peeps & rock on Scotty

24.01.2022 Vertex band of the week is The Dirty Sunflowers. The Dirty Sunflowers mix punk, rock and grunge into a delicious combo. From catchy guitar riffs to powerful female vocals, these tunes will be in your head for days!

We’ll also be having a free for all jam so bring your guitars & Basses. Open invite to all patrons of Vertex and their friends See you there!

07.01.2022 So since someone feels the need to abuse the crash cymbals, you’ll now need to bring your own crashes in now but, I’ve just added a Meinl effects stack & bell to left of kit & a Sabian Evolution Crash / Ride to right side of kit. Let’s respect the gear so we can all enjoy it, please. Scotty.

02.01.2022 As someone has cracked both Sabian HHX crashes in the one session (yes, the ones signed by Virgil Donati & Gregg Bisonette amongst others) Unfortunately drummers, you’ll need to bring your own crashes until they’re replaced.
