24.01.2022 Is your child interested in joining the defence force? Our program draws on the training and activities undertaken by soldiers during their time in the army. Nine days at our base camp can give your teen a good idea of what life would look like for them in the defence force. Our highly experienced veterans are also more than happy to answer any questions they may have.
24.01.2022 Happy World Kindness Day! Today is about making kindness the norm in our daily lives. Here are few ways you can start: Send an uplifting text to a family member or friend. Include intentional moments of kindness, laughter and delight in your daily routine.... Go slightly outside of your comfort zone at least once a day to make someone smile. Treat someone to a cup of coffee (a friend, stranger, or even yourself!) Go and try one or all of these, you’ll see how easy it is!

06.01.2022 A certain level of untidiness in teens is normal. In fact, psychologists have attributed teenage messiness to the fact that their prefrontal cortices are not yet fully connected to other parts of their brains. And while this sounds like a pretty good excuse for you teen to avoid cleaning their room, it’s still important for them to learn the value of respecting their belongings and maintaining a tidy space We’ve found it’s a lot easier to instill this behaviour in teens when it’s not coming from their nagging parents, which is why our program schedules in time each day for your teen to clean and maintain their barracks for inspection.

04.01.2022 A number of students were surveyed prior to commencing our Junior Leadership program to gain a benchmark of how they viewed their confidence levels. They were then surveyed a second time to gain insight into their progress and saw a 24% increase in overall confidence levels We think this is a fantastic result!
