20.01.2022 Gday Team have some exciting news today We have just finalised the donation from DSA to the amount of $4495.30 and have been pledged another donation in the future. 19.01.2022 VETERAN SUICIDE! Since 2015 veteran suicides have increased by a whopping 75%. Despite specific organisations being formed to combat rising numbers, which are 13% higher for men who have left the ADF than that of the general population, the death toll is climbing.... Studies show that 292 certified suicide deaths occurred among serving and ex-serving personnel between 2001 and 2014, and this year there have been 83 suicides, the highest recorded number in one year! If this trend continues we will pass the previous thirteen year total by the middle of 2018, which is alarming as the latest projections are from the period 2015 to june 2018, or less than four years since that study was released. 16.01.2022 Did you know that Soldier On has an office or a centre in almost every state or territory of Australia? Our offices are in Adelaide, Albury, Currumbin, Newcastle, and Perth, and our centres are in Sydney, Melbourne, and Canberra. From these locations, we are able to help Australia’s service personnel and their families. If you can’t get to these locations, most of our services are available via Skype or email.

06.01.2022 Gday all you outstanding Veteran Centre supporters I would ask that you please read this and share as there is some misunderstanding out there and it need to be rectified. Over the past months the centre has received as well as on this medium some very abusive and aggressive calls and messages regarding DSA a company that sells shirts. We purchased a number of shirts from them and they were all received in good order and we were very happy with these. After this transaction ...the owner of DSA offered the centre a donation which we accepted as we are self funded. They also asked us to do a couple of promo shout outs about both our satisfaction of the product and we also decided a thank you for the donation was warranted as well considering its size. The abuse the staff and volunteers have coped due to this is disgraceful. The facts are that we completed a transaction with DSA and were happy and they kindly donated to us end of story. So please as I requested stop ringing/messaging and abusing the volunteers at the centre as your personal gripe with this or any other company that we may or may not do business with in the future DOES NOT GIVE YOU THE RIGHT TO ABUSE VOLUNTEERS AND HAS NOTHING i SAY AGAIN NOTHING TO DO WITH THE VETERANS CENTRE.
