25.01.2022 Congratulations to our latest Puppy Preschool Graduates: Murphy, Paddington, Finn, Martha and Hershey... Keep up the great work team!! #glenelgvet #puppypreschool

25.01.2022 Meet Walder! Gorgeous Walder visited us for the first time Monday evening when his fur mum found him with a fish hook through his lip! Acting quickly she brought him straight to us where we were able to safely remove the fish hook under sedation and radiograph his throat and tummy to make sure there wasn't any swallowed hooks. We are glad to hear Walder has recovered well at him and his mum even treated him to some toys to help him recover Just a reminder while we have brought in extra measures during covid-19 we are otherwise business as normal!

25.01.2022 Poor Harvey got a shock today when a stick got caught in his mouth! Luckily Dr. Bec was able to remove the pesky object in consult without any need for surgery, well done Harvey for being such a calm and good patient #glenelgvet #vetvisits

25.01.2022 In need of a laugh? Maybe we should invest in these...who is guilty of touching their face? Just a reminder we are still open for business, however we are taking extra precautions for our clients safety which may affect your consultations with us. If you need to bring your pet in, please read our previous post or call us on 8295 1312 so we can advise of our new procedures to keep both us and your pet safe.

25.01.2022 To all of our lovely clients (and patients). Thankyou for your understanding and consideration during these last few weeks and the restrictions we have put in place. Because of your compliance we have been able to remain open and ensure the safety of our staff and clients. Due to the governments recent easing of restrictions, we have been able to bring the following new protocols into place: - We can now allow a maximum of FOUR clients in the waiting room at any one time - We... can now allow a maximum of ONE person in the consulting room at a time We ask that if the waiting room is at maximum capacity, clients can either wait on the seats provided outside of the clinic or wait in your car and we will come and get you when we are ready. As previous any food or medications can be pre ordered and delivered outside. If you have any questions regarding these new processes please do not hesitate to contact us. Thankyou - The Team at GVC

17.01.2022 COVID-19 UPDATE: With the recent developments set by the Australian Government, we are still open for business but have set stricter rules on our services. For the safety of our staff and clients, we are now asking that ALL clients and non-staff personnel wait outside the clinic to be attended, unless under extreme circumstances. If you have an appointment, the veterinarian will come out to discuss your pets health before taking them into the clinic treatment area for any pr...ocedures or treatment required. If you are coming for food or medication, we ask that you ring ahead to have the items put aside and paid for over the phone so we can simply hand over to you in the car park. Unfortunately, we can no longer accept cash but still taking payments via PayPass/MOTO (over the phone) or direct debit. We understand the inconvenience this may cause you, and appreciate your patience and understanding during this time. It is only by taking these measures that we can continue to stay open and treat your pets. If you have any questions regarding our change in services or how we can assist you and your pet, please do not hesitate to contact us by phone or email. Thank you - GVC Team

17.01.2022 IMPORTANT COVID UPDATE!!! Dear Clients, As per the new government regulations, veterinary clinics have thankfully been classified as an essential service - however the Australian Veterinary Association has advised we may remain open for NON ROUTINE TREATMENT ONLY. If your pet is sick or unwell in anyway we will definitely treat them, however we ask all non essential procedures to be postponed.... We must all do our part to keep our community safe. For this reason we ask all clients to remain outside or in your car. Please alert us on your arrival by phone or approaching the front door where we will greet you and bring your pet inside for examination. If you require food or medication for your pet during these next six days, please call the clinic beforehand so we can arrange for it to be dispensed. If you have any concerns regarding your pet please do not hesitate to contact us, we are here for you Regards, Glenelg Vet Clinic
