25.01.2022 Ticks are usually most prevalent in humid, leafy green areas of Australia, however can be found anywhere! Similarly, to fleas, they thrive in the warmer months and feed off of the blood of your pet. The Paralysis Tick is one of the most common ticks- and the most fatal. If your pet has a paralysis tick you will see symptoms such as excessive vocalisation, drooling, shaking, fever and slowly but surely, total body paralysis. If your pet has any of these symptoms please call us on 9837 5410 as this is a medical emergency and must be treated immediately . Ticks can be prevented through topical (collars included) and oral products that we sell here at the clinic.

24.01.2022 Found! Female blue Mini Lop Rabbit in Quakers Hill. Anyone missing this little lady?

22.01.2022 Handsome Enzo was very excited to come in to see Dr. Jenna for his last puppy vaccination and to recheck his ears after being treated for an infection. Floppy ears can be a great breeding ground for yeast and bacteria to make their home if it becomes wet. Ensure your pet doesn’t get water in their ears during bathing/swimming or make sure to use a pet friendly ear cleaner after to dry out the ear canal. See you again soon Enzo! (desexing is next )
