17.01.2022 Kids had dress up day at school for a day at the races. After conversations on the horse racing industry this week, we were looking for a vet costume. While searching through my reclaimed fabrics for the scrubs shirt the pink and white (ex doona cover) fabric jumped out at me as jockey shirt fabric. Small child picked out green to go with it. Quite happy with how it all turned out. Smallest child was not keen on being the horse, so she searched the cupboard for 'elegant' clothes instead.

09.01.2022 Good morning! I have been getting my fabrics together, and seeing what others i might need. The masks i make have 2 layers of cotton, with a pocket to insert a filter. I have 2 styles - a pleated style (the Grinch one) and a panel style (black hearts). The panel style is more fitted around the nose. There is also an optional pocket to insert nose wire for a better fit. Masks have elasticised straps to tie behind the head. These are often preferred to ear straps. Masks are $15 each. Contact free pickup is available from Wandong. Sizing is as below.

01.01.2022 Christmas Table Runner. This started out as something else last year, but was never finished. When it came out again this year i changed my mind, redesigned it and this is how it finished up. I'm pretty happy with it.
01.01.2022 Finished my scrappy 'blanky' last night, and small child nabbed it from me this morning. Apparently it is warm, soft and comfy. Cotton fabric blocks on the top and flannelette blocks on the back.
