03.01.2022 Construction is currently underway at 20 Leichhardt Street Bowen for our permanant premises. It still looks nothing like a Vet clinic at the moment but we assure Bowen and the surrounding districts it will look amazing soon enough. I would like to thank my family who have been a massive support during this period and the local tradies who have chipped in and offered there services thus far. My Grandfather who was very close to me past last week and I will be attending his funeral with my family down in Ipswich. 01.01.2022 Most people will recognise him from his work in Proserpine and the Whitsundays, however for those who haven't met him, here's a little bit about Dr Jason Mansfield. The driving force behind the business, he is no stranger to hard work and looks forward to meeting you and your animals. "I grew up in Sarina on a small cattle property. I have always loved and enjoyed animals growing up on the farm and ever since I was 6 years old, I remember wanting to be a vet. I graduated from... James Cook University in December 2014 and was given the opportunity to work at Proserpine Vet Surgery in 2015. I have lived and breathed Veterinary Science ever since that date and have learnt it’s not a job, it’s a lifestyle and the relationship you build with clients and their animals is always something I find very special. I am a true mixed practice veterinarian and enjoy working with all animals, big and small, to help with their health dilemmas. Those who know me know that I do like my cows, but I try not to let the horses, dogs and cats know that.
