14.01.2022 Saturday 29th Feb saw the Young Volunteers latest project on the move from Maldon to Newport today! A couple of the VGRs Gangers Trolleys has gone to Newport for Steamrail Victoria’s Open weekends on 7th, 8th and 9th March. Our trolleys will be on display during the entire weekend... so be sure to check them out!! 14.01.2022 Wishing everyone a very happy Christmas! Victorian Goldfields Railway ran the last steam hauled regular service for the year on Sunday. Some of our young volunteers, who were working on the loco for the day, decided to make the smokebox look festive with a cheery message for the season.

01.01.2022 Thanks to our good friends at A. C. S Lang for providing us with a load of local Muckleford Crushed gravel for the YVG area up at the Gang shed. This has made the appearance outside the shed so much more presentable!!! Alan Lang who is a life member at our railway, kindly donated the load of Gravel and his time to come out and spread all the gravel for us after Normal working hours!! Thank you so much Alan!! 01.01.2022 Here is the small team that have all taken part in Macedon’s repaint over the last 3 months. A very big thanks goes out to this small team for all the hard work they put in to get the amazing results as shown.
