20.01.2022 It's not the size of the stone, it's how you use it. Creating a 50 cm black marble bench top for our friends at @wojcicki_constructions was not the biggest job of the year, but being able to help them take a vintage polished wood vanity and turn it into a beautiful, practical bathroom setting sure was a highlight.

20.01.2022 Celebrity Kitchen Visit! This is Paloma Faith's poppy London townhouse, complete with bubblegum pink fridge, feature wall and spice rack. It's a bold choice, but it's also a testament to how well a great natural stone can bring a room together. This mottled white marble used in both the benchtop and splashback somehow still draws the eye even amongst the cartoon bright features. We do love the gold finishes on the cabinetry and fridge doors. All in all it's a kitchen full of strong choices, but I think she pulls it off! P.S - We zoomed in on the spice rack, sadly that yellow label is not fireball, but good for Paloma for keeping apple cider vinegar on hand like that.

20.01.2022 Recognise anything? We love tying in materials and themes throughout a house to give it a unified feel. This his and hers bathroom is from the same Bendigo home we shared earlier this week. We've used the same @stoneambassador_vasari ‘Carrara Mist’ throughout. Plus the talented @awferrescabinets has created this lovely bathroom vanity to match.

20.01.2022 This one's a funny story. We don't typically sell wall mirrors. But with our precision water jets and digital designs, we're always experimenting. We created this enchanted white marble mirror and frame literally so we'd have a mirror in the show room. Some clients like to touch up of their lippy while they're visiting, what can we say. The next minute it's being enquired about, and is on a truck to a beautiful new Bendigo home. So we lost our mirror, but it looks great above this fireplace, and is currently a collectors item, as the only V Group wall mirror in the world.

14.01.2022 The latest in our series on local homes experts here in Central Victoria. We interviewed Glenn from Bourke's Kitchens on the company's amazing story. We love working with the entire BK team and shining a spotlight on incredible local companies. https://www.thebigsmoke.com.au//from-shed-to-showroom-how/

08.01.2022 Step into Drew Barrymore’s kitchen. I’ll be honest, it’s not what I expected, but it’s growing on me. Deep green cabinetry on stark, simple unpolished brass fittings and matching Splashback. Trust the redhead from Charlies Angel’s to go for a vintage look that’s relaxed, but just that little bit different.

06.01.2022 "Talent wins games, teamwork wins championships"- Michael Jordan. Well we love a bit of team work to bring multiple elements together in one beautiful space, and the guys at @r_r_house sure know how to pick a team. Our own V Stone created this YDL Super White stone bench top, while our V Splash team custom made and installed the smokey mirror shield Splashback. The addition of a sky light above lets the natural light flood in and bounce glowingly off all these natural surfaces.

04.01.2022 "Good design is obvious.. Great design is transparent.." - Joe Sparano This is a Maximum, Statuario large format Porcelain Clad that's been vein matched to appear seamlessly as one continuous piece. Our vein matching and custom digital cutting process allows us to create perfect stone and porcelain pieces that flow effortlessly with the room.

03.01.2022 Did you know Prince lives in Bendigo? We didn't either, until we were asked to create this Purple Rain coloured custom Splashback! With a year of being inside, why not create a custom kitchen with a bit of excitement in a colour that matches your personality. We love it!
