25.01.2022 Traffic was terrible on the highway today so went flying until it cleared. Had to do some GPS testing to confirm accuracy of Indicated Airspeed Gauge then escorted Kmart' Christmas stock to the Port of Brisbane. Returned via Redcliffe for a few circuits and then went back out for some formation fun. #borntofly

25.01.2022 Went for a run down the coast this morning. Was a beautiful quick trip down to Byron Bay over Moreton Island, past the Gold Coast over water and around Cape Byron and back in a little over 1.5hrs. Saw some whales & dolphins bobbing in the water next to the surfers, boaties and all the beautiful people sunning themselves on the beach. Waved to my mate Paul as we cruised past his house on Pt Danger and cruised home at 500' over water. This baby sure chews up some sky at 160kts IAS! #borntofly

21.01.2022 After a marathon Annual inspection that started in September she's all bathed and shiny & ready to burn some holes in the sky. Landing Gear Torque Tubes replaced New inspection panels fabricated Engine & Propeller Hoses replaced ... Usual service items carried out No part numbers found in the oil Thanks for your assistance Adam

06.01.2022 Following a blockage in the tip tanks, due to mud wasps nesting in the vent, I needed a removable vented cover. There's off the shelf options for $29ea but that's too rich for my blood, especially considering most are just a nylon plug with a flag on it. Sitting on the ATV at the farm i noticed the gas tank fuel vent and decided it would be perfect. So ordered some embroided flags, fuel vents and 8mm clear tube. $4ea. Much better!
