20.01.2022 Hey again to all our awesome VIBERS ~ Jill here! Further to our announcement below, I would also like to add the provisions around Remedial Massage. ... Safety remains our number one concern for all of our clients, some of whom are from vulnerable and at-risk populations. Since Remedial involves being in close proximity and sharing the air for an extended time in a small room, a virus like COVID19 can be spread very quickly despite the best infection control and hygiene precautions. And since social distancing is one of the key strategies that has helped Australia to smash the curve, the decision to reopen remains pretty complicated in this area also!! The other complication is that the government has stated that I can reopen with strict guidelines in place but there are currently no specific guidelines for the massage therapy industry. My association, AMT, has just convened a biosecurity planning committee to create a return-to-practice roadmap for massage therapists. They are advising me to hold off practising until they have released this plan! As always, we appreciate your support and understanding whilst we navigate our way through our "New Normal"! We will endeavour to keep you updated wherever possible!

Apart from a GLOBAL PANDEMIC that affected everybody in some way, shape or form.. many of you also know the journey my life took this year.... Chronic mental health issues (along with other personal issues) took over this year, which unfortunately affected my ability to focus, work, and even function at a basic level most days. To say that I am grateful for the level of understanding, patience, love & support that I received from you all.. well ... WHAT AN UNDERSTATEMENT... doesn’t even come close to expressing my true gratitude & appreciation. There are simply no words that will ever come close! With your continued support, encouragement and loyalty ... Meegan (our new Skin & Massage Therapist) & I are planning to hit 2021 with all guns blazing and bring Vibe Massage & Aesthetics back to what you all know and love... Along with the rest of our nation, we have no idea how long this closure will last, but we will be sure to keep you updated. 02.01.2022 Hey Vibers Some, or all of you may have heard the announcement a few days ago that QLD Beauty salons can operate again from next Saturday. I have had about a million messages and I am hearing you Now the reason I haven't made a re-opening announcement as yet is because of a number of issues that need 100% clarification are still to be confirmed, in particular specifically what treatments can be done in this first stage of reopening as the latest government announcement... has said "some Beauty Therapies" and another speach from Annastacia Palaszczuk said "some small beauty treatments". Our industry is pretty much in melt down over what seems to be a lack understanding of our industry and the extent of treatments we offer. Last week NSW made a similar announcement which was actually revoked and re worded 3 times in a matter of 24 hours, so im sure you can understand the frustration and confusion. However one of our major industry bodies is deeply looking into this and hopefully we will have more certainty in the coming days. Please bare with us during this time x

02.01.2022 CUPPING!!!!!! ARE THERE ACTUALLY ANY BENEFITS?
