24.01.2022 The South Australian budget was handed down today, and included in it are new measures which will hurt SA's vibrancy. Firstly, increased liquor licence fees which will force bars and nightclubs to shut. Secondly, a Police Tax which will hurt festivals and artists.... This comes on top of the already announced cuts to festivals such as the Adelaide Fashion Festival. The Government should invest in our festival state, not tax it. Help us fight these changes and sign up at www.vibrantsa.com.au/petition

12.01.2022 The gross economic expenditure generated by Adelaide's arts festivals, such as the Adelaide Festival, Fringe, Womadelaide and Cabaret Festival, rose by 29.2% to $345.9 million and created 1045 full-time equivalent jobs. The Government plans to impose a Police Tax on festivals which puts all this at risk. Sign our petition to support our arts festivals and artists www.vibrantsa.com.au/petition

"We are talking about the vibrancy of SA and the vibrancy of Adelaide and how much tourism has improved and how much our reputation has improved nationally and this is going to impose on that."... 02.01.2022 Sydney's nightlife has become a joke since the introduction of their harsh lockout laws. Iconic clubs have closed, hundreds have lost their jobs, and Sydney's culture and nighttime economy and been stifled. The new licence changes will create lockout laws by stealth for South Australia. Don't let Adelaide's vibrancy become a joke, sign the petition now www.vibrantsa.com.au/petition
