Don't forget, if you do 10 jumps within the first 8 weeks of when skydiving commences in Victoria, and you are a VTPC member, your 10th jump is on us (up to $50)! Just approach the DZ on your 10th jump and they'll look after you. ... Also, once you've done your 10th jump and gotten your free jump ticket on us, you can post a picture on your Facebook and tag Victorian - Tasmanian Parachute Council to go into the draw to win a free jump ticket. 14.01.2022 Funeral Notice (copied from the APF member page) The funeral for Claude Gillard will be held on Monday 10 August at 2pm.... The funeral will celebrate Claude’s colourful and full life and will be live streamed to facilitate his many friends that can’t travel from interstate and overseas due to COVID restrictions. 14.01.2022 As most of you know, DZs are beginning to open soon for fun jumpers. To avoid missing out on any important information regarding DZ opening dates or the requirements to start jumping again, we recommend VTPC members join each Facebook Group for the individual DZs and if you have any questions to contact the DZ directly. Here is a list of the DZs in Victoria which allow fun jumping (in no particular order):... 1. Nagambie Jumpers 2. Barwon Heads Fun Jumpers 3. Team Torquay 4. Commando Skydivers DZ Info Page. Please note restrictions may apply at different DZs for AFF students, A Licences and B - Rels. If this applies to you, please contact the DZ directly to discuss when you are able to start jumping again and any re-currency that you need to do to start jumping again. 09.01.2022 It was great to see that we had 50 people attend the VTPC's AGM! I just want to say thank you to everyone that attended. I also would like to give a big shout out to the Council Executive (Catherine, Swanee, Justin and Lou) for an amazing year this year, you all worked very hard, and a thank you to Simon for his 2 years as a board director on the APF Board, I know holding such a position takes more time and energy than most people realise.
