08.01.2022 MELBOURNE RUNABOUT & SPEEDBOAT CLUB 2021 Melton Gold Cup Postponement. A decision has been made to postpone the 2021 Melton Gold Cup over the weekend of February 5th 6th & 7th to a date to be advised.... The decision has been made due to the current COVID-19 border closures, with the uncertainty of New South Wales, Queensland & Western Australian entrants ability to make the trip to Victoria and return without ramifications. Whilst it is a hard decision to make, whether it be the right or wrong one, the decision to call it now is to give intending competitors & sponsors as much notice as possible.

06.01.2022 Victorian Outboard Club VOC MARATHON POSTPONED.. Victorian Outboard Club VOC Marathon Series... ATT: EVENT POSTPONED Hi All, The VOC and GDBC Committees have held an emergency meeting and would like to advise that the planned marathon has been postponed. The rapidly changing border restrictions and the Covid permit system in place in Victoria is restricting the event to the point that we agree that it would be best to move the event to a future date so that all competitors may attend and that the current situation with permits can be clarified. Apologies to all however we can assure you that the event will be one not to miss. And to all those interstate teams starting to prepare, please use this time wisely as you will definitely need it if your planning to take on the Mexicans!!! We will update as soon as practical the new dates.
