24.01.2022 As Haudenosaunee, lacrosse is a part of us. As girls, we grow up watching our fathers, uncles, cousins, and brothers play. The love and respect we have for the ...game is our medicine. This sport has literally held my family together. When my family learned about the women’s box lacrosse league in Ontario we had to ask our respected elders for guidance if we should/could play. It’s our passion, it is our ceremony. Less then 2 months after delivering the next generation of lacrosse players, my baby girls stepped on the floor with me surrounded by their aunties (grey picture). My heart is happy they get an opportunity to grow up playing, something I had to wait awhile for. My only hope is for a shift where women are respected for the stellar athletes we are. We are more then just pretty faces. We are here to play and to bring back the essence of the game for our future generations. See more

05.01.2022 World Lacrosse Introduces Name Change World Lacrosse will call the game played in rinks Box lacrosse instead of Field. All World Lacrosse box events in the fut...ure will be referred to as box instead of indoor. The change will officially take effect after the second day of the virtual General Assembly annual meeting, to be held in November. An example of this is in 2024 the new name would be World Lacrosse Men's Box World Championship. See more

03.01.2022 BOX COURT LIVES ON IN SA !!!!!!! In a deal done between LSA and Vic Box Lax the Box court lives on. Taken from Puchandlers in Preston three years ago to then be erected at Westgate ,now given new live in SA in what we see as huge step for Box Lacrosse. Can not wait to be playing/spectating in SA at your own venue.... Great Job. See more
