14.01.2022 A lovely evening at Norm and Serena's last night. In conjunction with Chaine des Rotisseurs Victoria and hosted by Robert Hook we enjoyed a virtual wine tasting... prior to the South Australian Bailliage committee meeting. Even with COVID 19 restrictions interstate comraderies can continue if only in a virtual way. The three wines selected by the sommeliers at the Australia Club were, 2016 Damian Laureau 'Les Genets' Savinnieres (Loire Valley) 2015 Cilar de Silos 'Estate' Tinto Fino. (Ribera del Duero, Spain) 2015 Brancaia Chianti Classico Reserva (Tuscany) Wonderful commentary was provided with a number of Victorian members involved and of course ourselves. The wines were all very enjoyable and were fine examples of three distinct wine regions.
