24.01.2022 Round 3 (previously rescheduled) | Mount Buller Update: Its never an easy call to make, but together with MTBA, in line with advice from the Federal Government, weve made the decision to cancel the rescheduled VDHS Round 3 at Mount Buller. The safety of riders, spectators and volunteers is our number one priority. The Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation is moving rapidly, and this is the correct decision for us and the community more broadly.... The advice from the Federal Government is intended to protect those most vulnerable in our community, slow the rate of infection and keep our health care system from being overburdened. 13.01.2022 The club is calling out for volunteers for our "Tripple Header All Mountain Event" We are all know that club run events are not possible without the fabulous su...pport of volunteers. The club is looking for:- Track marshals are required at the start and finish of each track plus another couple of strategic points on course to ensure the safety of all riders. Require driver’s to assist with the shuttling of the riders on Saturday and Sunday. Driver can have standard driver's license or heavy rigid license Assistance with the cooking of the food for riders over the weekend Traffic Control Marshalls - In order to do this role, you must have a 'Control traffic with stop-slow bat' certification All volunteers will be provided the lunch, drinks and vouchers for a free shuttle which can be transferred to a friend/family member. And don't forget you get wear one the infamous high vis event crew vests. Students if you need to do community hours for school, volunteer for the weekend can contribute to your hours. 11.01.2022 Hi all, have just heard from Mt Buller about our round 3 which was to be held on the 18/19 of January 2020 at this time we are going to have to postpone this event, due to fires in this area. As I am still away but flying back to Melbourne tomorrow I will be talking to Ben Annear as soon as my feet hit the ground, please give us time to sort this out as it is a discussion that is NOT taken lightly as the safety of riders, spectators and staff come before anything so please NO disrespectful comments, wishing all emergency services the best. 10.01.2022 Mt. Buller update: All registrations and Day Licence fees for the 2020 Mt. Buller VDHS Round have today been refunded in full by the Mansfield Mt. Buller Cycling Club. These refunds now need to be verified by MTBA, and the funds should be credited back into your accounts shortly. Thanks for your patience on this process to take place, and we hope to have a new date for Mt. Buller sometime soon.

08.01.2022 Yesterday a very convincing con group deceitfully paid for and collected a brand new Mondraker Level R from our store. With the current climate for new bikes an...d the shortage of stock, we have noticed more and more phone transactions to secure hard to find bikes, most often legit, but on this occasion we were stung. This bike was collected yesterday by the lady in the next image. Please share, especially with stores. It’s a very distinctive bike from the first Mondraker Shipment. These crooks stories are convincing, often with ongoing contact and seeking actual advice that is backed by some knowledge of bikes. They collect the bike in person, in store, have ID, email addresses and and phone numbers that work (until goods are transacted). Keep an eye out... See more

As you all know we had to cut short the series for the safety of everyone involved please if you are still riding please keep the 1.5 metre distance so we can get back on doing the things we love.
