25.01.2022 ATTENTION FREERIDERS!! Stop thinking you’re not good enough to enter FREERIDE events!! That’s what they are, EVENTS, not competitions. I was absolutely stoked... with the amount of new guys who attended Send n Slash last year and from the guys I spoke to they Fucken loved it!! So if you’re new to Freeriding and are hooked on it then enter in SCX2020. Doesn’t matter if you can do wicked fist pumps or super awesome backloops, everyone from people who started riding two weeks prior to seasoned pro’s do these events. I’d like to hear some stories from those guys who were scared to enter but then absolutely loved it. And go.... 24.01.2022 Might be worth a read of this to those 'irregular' riders performing 'irregular and unpredictable' maneuvers in 5knt zones around port Phillip bay. 19.01.2022 Send N Slash 3 went off! I was lucky enough to be invited down to capture the days event. The morning started out pretty dull, with not a breath of wind. As the... morning progressed, the surf turned up, the clouds drifted away and the skis went out for a rip buds ! What a sick weekend proving that Australian freeride is stronger than ever with a massive presence of new blood absolutely killing it with three cherry popper flips on the first day before the official comp! Another strong showing of interstate riders with the Western Australia boys putting some serious mileage in to make it here, the Victorian boys getting over for their third event and a few Queenslanders flying down to make the perfect mix for an intense event. With both days running flawlessly and without doubt the fastest setup and clean up each day making it a breeze for event staff. Send N Slash 3 would never be possible without our sponsors each year so a massive shoutout to JETPILOT, Krash Industries, KP Parts, Hydro-Turf, Vinylised Signs, squid industries, Random Performance, Goolwa Jet Ski, Worx building and construction, JET WRECK, Blasterboyz, Caudo Vineyard, Prorider mag, Shifty Apparel, twofold.com and also a massive shoutout to the Goolwa Surf Life Saving Club for looking after us on the beach safety side of things and also having us at the beautiful new surf club overlooking the the event site, the Alexandrina Council for allowing us to run this event at this pristine beach location. Wrenching, hangovers and Voltarin aside, this has been one of the best even...ts for us in the last 3 years. It's the definition of freeride.
