13.01.2022 Good afternoon to our Vicki Field Swimming Families. We are delighted to inform you that this afternoon the Victorian Premier, Daniel Andrews announced the easing of restrictions for Indoor Swimming Pools! We will be open and operational for swimming lessons from Monday the 9th of November 2020. All monies paid last term including deposits and any unused swimming lessons will be honoured when you return. The health and wellbeing of our staff and swimming community is our ...key priority. We have taken the following measures to ensure the Victorian Governments COVID Safe Guidelines are adhered to; If you have a fever, a cough, a sore throat, a runny nose or are experiencing a shortness of breath - please stay away! We have expanded our makeup lesson policy to allow swimmers to use as many makeup lessons as is necessary. Lessons can be carried over into the following term. Every person entering the facility will be required to sanitise their hands (sanitisers will be located near the front entrance and at reception). Every person who is 12 years of age and over is required to wear a face mask (unless swimming). There is a limit of one Guardian per family. At this stage we can have a maximum of 20 swimmers. We have implemented measures to ensure that the social distancing requirements are met, and there will be appropriate signage throughout the facility to help you with this. Spectator seating will be set up outside the facility along Southfork Drive and also inside the facility along the swimming pool ensuring the 1.5m physical distancing requirement. We have introduced increased cleaning of high touch areas and for our swimming equipment have implemented a 1 use per swimmer policy followed by the sanitation of that equipment after every use. The change rooms will be available for use with restricted numbers. We encourage the older children to ‘wrap and go’. Baby change tables are located in every change room and are available for use (cleaning products will be provided for hygiene purposes after every use). Every person who enters the facility will be required to provide their details for contact tracing purposes. Over the next few days, myself and my staff will be endeavouring to contact you all regarding your swimming booking which was previously confirmed during our last reopening attempt in June/July or to arrange a new one. In the meantime though you can contact us directly by either ringing Ph: 9761-7030 or emailing: [email protected] to secure your preferred swimming spot. N.B because we may not have your current contact phone details, we ask that when you notify us, to please leave your phone number as we may need to discuss your booking with you. We are beyond excited to be re-opening on the 9th of November and we can’t wait to see all of your smiling faces once more! Best regards, Vicki, John and Team
