24.01.2022 Hi Everyone, Thirlmere Takeaway is now under new management and has a new name "CRISPY'S @ THIRLMERE Takeaway. We would sincerely like to thank everyone for making us feel so welcome!... About us, we are a small family business and this opportunity has been a dream of ours, we have family living and working in Thirlmere and surrounding areas. We will be carrying on the traditions of this "lovely old shop", which has served the community for over 30 years. The shelves have been restocked with some old favourites, lolly jars on the counters, old style flavoured drinks (Cherry Cheer, Portillo, Creaming Soda etc), a whole range of Bundaberg drinks, including our favourite, Ginger Beer! Our Peters ice creams fridge is full! Icy cold creamy milk shakes are coming very soon, we are also planning on a freshly made sandwich bar, a coffee machine and cakes. Most importantly, we are carrying on the tradition of "hand made" fresh daily, crispy potato scallops, battered fish fillets, fish cocktails, seafood sticks, battered Savs, etc. Don't forget our hot chips served with plain or chicken salt! Our classic Aussie style Hamburgers (toasted golden sesame bun, shredded lettuce, tomato, beetroot, fried onion, beef patty and BBQ sauce or a sauce of your choice), extras to add to your Hamburger, include Cheese, Bacon, Egg and juicy pineapple! Steak sandwiches, chicken snitz burgers and lots more! We look forward to seeing you and being of service. Our operating hours will be extending, we will keep you updated, of any changes.
