01.01.2022 WOWZA! Two Categories! What a wonderful surprise. I am very grateful and honoured to have won first place at the Rise International Awards for the Children AND Teen categories on Friday 16 October I nearly fell off my chair.I was thrilled to have all 5 images awarded and placed in the finalist list but to also achieve the first place awards was very exciting. A very historical time as we all sat on zoom and watched on facebook live the announcement via ZOOM. A very success...ful presentation! It was amazing to hear Kelly Brown say there were over 70 countries participating! OMG! Thank you Kelly Brown, the Rise awards team and the fabulous sponsors. Most of all a massive thank you to the judges for their time, experience and feedback on the entries. An incredible calibre of judges. Congratulations to all my fellow photographers from around the world that continue to inspire and raise the bar. Again I am very honoured and very happy, you’ve put a smile back on my face. I look forward to sharing my knowledge and passion for photography to all the student’s that pass through my classrooms and zoom rooms!
