11.01.2022 The last two jobs out the door for Christmas presents. Phew another two happy customers, A table top for a husbands of his bikes and a for another family a mirror of the Mother and Fathers wedding photo, married 62 years ago. Both diverse from each other yet both as rewarding to create.

08.01.2022 Where we are in The Basin, we are fortunate enough to be surrounded by an amazing collection of artists and makers of all kinds. We recently stumble upon the wo...rk of Vickirby Creations and it's safe to say, we were pretty damn impressed. Vicki is an artist who professionally worked in the graphics and printing industry for twenty years and now runs painting classes from home. But what really had us impressed- is that Vicki creates images on glass (and even mirrors), etched by sand. Each part is hand carved and etched as individual pieces. They can create any image you want, a perfect reproduction of a photograph or any design you could possibly think of. 05.01.2022 I got such a thrill when I gave this picture to family who live on Flinders Island. It was a surprise for them and then me, when Gerry said, "I know that boat, Wow, it's beautiful, that's my cousins boat, moored for about 6 months of the year in that spot...look at the detail Joan....". I had used a photo from the island they lived on knowing they love boats, they were delighted by their git and so was I.
