25.01.2022 I love this ted talk and while the context might be different in Australia, as compared to the USA, it illustrates so well just how important that third friend is. As a naturopath, much of what I do is working on the upstream or finding ways to positively influence health and create happy bodies and minds. https://www.ted.com//rishi_manchanda_what_makes_us_get_sic

22.01.2022 Our online bookings option is now live. Click on the link below to check out the appointment times and get started on your journey to great health today!

22.01.2022 Here are 10 of my favourite ways to eat green vegetables. Green vegetables are so good for us because they are jam-packed full of fibre, folate, minerals, antioxidants and they taste AMAZING! What's your favourite number?

21.01.2022 Oats are a lovely and filling winter breakfast option and help keep our digestive system healthy. They are a low gi food and are good for keeping energy levels up. Plus they can also help with healthy cholesterol balance and they taste delicious. There are so many different ways to enjoy oats, but soaking overnight is so beneficial because it helps to soften the oats and increases their digestibility.

15.01.2022 It's here! The mystery recipe is green pancakes!! This is such a forgiving recipe and can be easily used with lots of different greens and herbs. It would also be yummy with some gut healing fermented vegetables, extra salad leaves, soft boiled eggs, roast vegetables or poached chicken. The mixture also keeps well in the fridge for a few days in case you just wanted to make a few for a snack.

14.01.2022 I love this quote and often draw wisdom from it to guide me when I'm creating treatment recommendations. The power of herbs, glorious foods, and natural remedies to support health and healing is an inspiration.

11.01.2022 Walking is a great way to incorporate exercise into our daily routines, especially when the view is this good! Walking outside is also a great way to get our daily dose of safe sun exposure to keep up Vitamin D levels. The cancer council recommends regular sun exposure in winter for southern Australia where the UV index is below 3.

10.01.2022 Who else reads recipe books for fun? I have a giant shelf full of my favourites but I'm always on the hunt for 'just one more'. One place I love checking out is the local library as they have such a diverse range and books from every cuisine. Plus, its free, easy and accessible!

07.01.2022 It's smoothie time! My favourite addition to my green smoothie is lime or lemon juice - it gives it such a freshness and lift. There are so many recipes out there it's hard to know where to start. I usually stick to a 60/40 rule and it's delicious every time. - 60% fruit (fresh or frozen) such as banana, melon, grapes, mango, berries, peach, apple ... - 40% greens such as spinach, lettuce, kale, mint, celery, cucumber, zucchini - A dash of lemon or lime juice for fun. Add some liquid like water, coconut water or almond milk and blend everything up.

06.01.2022 Good news! It's Naturopath Tuesday and I have some appointments available today at 5.30pm and 6.30pm. Would you like some extra support with your health goals, need some winter immune love or a digestive overhaul? You can make an appointment today and get started.

04.01.2022 I love cooking healthy and delicious food that leaves me satisfied and energetic. So much so that I often experiment in the kitchen with different recipes and ideas to create something new and exciting. It's also been my mission lately to incorporate lots of green into my diet to top up on the vitamins and fibre that support digestive health. Before I reveal all and share this new recipe with you it's time for a little 'guess whats on the spoon' game.......

01.01.2022 Did you know that many medicinal plants can be used as a herbal tea? It is often the best choice for clients because its gentle, restorative, effective and easy to incorporate into every day. As a Naturopath and Herbalist, I often make specific and tailored tea blends for clients to address their unique health concerns and taste preferences. This blend has green tea, lemon balm and orange. It's fruity, calming, boosts energy and is loaded with antioxidants.
