24.01.2022 Congratulations to all the kids who competed in our Nationals which wrapped up on Wednesday. After a slow start due to adverse conditions, the race committee did an amazing job to get in so many races in the last two days. Thanks to McCrae Yacht Club for hosting, to all our sponsors, and to all the volunteers and helpers who helped make the event a success. Special congratulations to the top 3 in open fleet; Sam Backwell, Will Hailes and Cassie McCarthy; and to the top 3 in Novice fleet; Emily Melrose, Emily Hailes and Lucas Hailes. 19.01.2022 A GREAT LOCKDOWN PROJECT. John Gibson and his daughters Frances and Pia have been busy during the lockdown building two Minnows for the girls in Williamstown V...ictoria. The boats look beautiful and are a credit to them. The laminated splashboards are a nice touch. We’re looking forward to seeing photos of the launching day. The girls will be the fourth generation of Gibson sailors at Williamstown. The Minnow with its distinctive blue sail has been teaching hundreds of kids to sail for many years. See more
