24.01.2022 We are still not open. This is because we are on P.C.Y.C (Police and Community Youth Centre) premises and have to comply with their lockdown agenda. The Shed Members are hoping for a PCYC decision allowing us to be able to return to the Shed on/after June 6th. Maintaining Social Distancing etc.

23.01.2022 Over the last few months a couple of the Shed members have been honing up their Wood turning Skills on the Three wood lathes we have. Keith, Jack, mike and today Allan. Jack was busy turning an Egg Cup from a piece of Jarrah. There was also an egg to try in it. Allan had his first lesson in basic safety and tools to use and how to use them. Then along with Jack and Mikes handy hints he made himself a Rolling Pin. I think we might possibly see some "Dim Sum" at out next Sausage Sizzle. Well done Allan.

15.01.2022 Fellow Shedders. We have three of these wooden outdoor chairs at our SMOKO tables. They are in dire need of a clean and scrape or sanding and then re finishing with an outdoor furniture sealer Oil /Varnish ! ? whatever is required. A good little "home"project to keep you (or Three of you) occupied while in this lockdown period. Contact Peter if you want to do one or Three.

08.01.2022 Tom Gauld and John Roach made these small stools with castors on for Carson St. school Victoria Park. Students there have special needs, and Tom engineered the stools to accommodate their requirements. Nice Job Tom and John. Well done.

08.01.2022 We need a stainless steel hand basin for a Temporary HAND WASHING STATION outside the shed. Anyone got one, or if you see one in a skip, or maybe just ask around. Remember it's only for a hand washing. Even a small sink with drainer might work out. Mike S

07.01.2022 Carsten made this new work bench for his sons new house (workshop) all from recycled materials including the vice.

06.01.2022 We need a Dolls House. Required for a Charitable Institution in the Vic Park South Perth area. Save us building from Scratch.

04.01.2022 Official designs and specs for some birds that are in WA. The bat ones are interesting as they are about the Kensington area but rarely seen.

02.01.2022 Xmas Lunch at the Bentley Hotel.

01.01.2022 We had a gathering today at the Victoria Park Hotel on the Albany Highway. In remembrance of our fellow Shed mate Bill Cooper, who passed onto the "Big Shed", just as the Convid lock down was imposed. We could not attend Bills funeral at the time so we had a get together to remember him today. Lunch and drinks for 20 members. Many thanks to Helen (Bill's partner) for shouting us a round of drinks. The Eulogy was delivered by Greg and Dennis, informing us of Bill's past achievements and life.
