With temperatures set to drop below zero this week, we're reminding people to cover their water meters with a cardboard box, plastic tub or... something similar to protect it from freezing over on frosty nights. This will protect your meter from splitting or bursting, and help prevent water from freezing inside the pipes to ensure you've still got access to water for your morning coffee and shower!
