22.01.2022 Guilty I am a planner through and through. Lists that have sub-lists, daily to dos, long term plans, ambitions and dreams. All written down because so much swirls in my head! With a busy family and a growing business pre-covid, everything that was happening and our meal plans went on our board by @dailyorders, so if it wasn’t on there, it didn’t happen! ... So many surprises going from one Mamma to another to help survive the holidays, from Grandparents who are missing their little Grandkids and friends who just want to say hi! Fair to say we’re all feeling this lockdown now. Even a little sunshine would help right now! ... 16.01.2022 If only smellovision existed! I don’t know how I have been doing it - baking, packing orders, delivering (well that bit is helped by my hubby), homeschooling 2 and chasing after a toddler. But when I pack orders, it brings me so much joy knowing how these boxes are helping lots of families out there survive lockdown and send messages and gifts. ... We’re delivering this week. 14.01.2022 Grandparents day is Sunday 25th October. Lots of us can’t see our grandparents at the moment due to covid restrictions and it’s possible it will be like this at the end of October. I have been working through some ideas for a box to celebrate this day and I will be delivering that weekend. ... This is just one of the items - homemade Granola - made with natural ingredients, sweetened with cinnamon and maple syrup. Dried fruits are peaches and cranberries. There are no nuts included (I don’t use nuts in any of my products). Also coming soon: - gift vouchers - cranberry and white choc cookies (made with coconut flour) - chocolate and zucchini muffins I will load the Grandparents day box onto my website in the next few days. 12.01.2022 Counting down the days till we can do this again - hopefully not too far away because no matter how much paint, playdoh, drawing, colouring, games and playgrounds we visit, these taste testers of mine are hankering for some freedom to explore, swim and run as far as their little legs will carry them! 09.01.2022 Not long until we’re back to making these daily (unless you have been superwoman). I have to say I haven’t missed packing mine, but that’s because I have a fussy eater who will only eat Parmesan cheese sangas - he doesn’t like normal cheese! My freezer is full of ready to eat snacks (so glad I know someone who makes them ). I also keep chopped fruit in an air tight container for a few days so it’s easy to grab. ... Do you have any lunchbox hacks or tips you can share? With the majority of children (I am sorry it’s not everyone) heading back to on-site learning on 12th October, I will be doing a special delivery on Sunday 11th October. 03.01.2022 #TBT It’s been a whole year since we went back to the UK to visit our family and friends we left behind 7 years ago. The first time (other than our parents and siblings) our family and friends met our 2 boys. It was a busy month of trying to cram as much in as possible, to show the taste testers as much as we can. I loved the fact we managed to get to @thesavoylondon for afternoon tea. My little taste tester loved it and we still talk about the stack of cakes she received wi...th the Tiger Who Came To Tea theme! It seems like it’s going to be forever before we can see our family and friends again, but Covid has helped us stay connected. Quiz nights, Bingo, FaceTimes, House Party. So many people have missed out on holidays, family time, special moments and so many of you have been sending gifts to your loved ones during 2020. It’s 1st October today which means this month, all being well, Melbournians will hopefully be reunited with at least one person who they are missing in the coming weeks.
