12.01.2022 SES Erica unit turned out to assist a driver stuck in the snow at almost the furthest reaches of our area (just short of Woods Point). It took nearly 3 hours to get there due to lots of snow, trees down and slippery conditions. This driver was reasonably prepared for his trip through the mountains. However, actually putting on his wheel chains before driving in snow may have spared him what could have been a very long cold night. Please note the SES are NOT in the business of recovery of vehicles, that is the job of a tow truck operator.
