24.01.2022 TOOLBOX TIME. Lets have a peep into the toolbox, and see what we can find, hey? The Mule Stretcher. Looks a bit weird, with just one wheel, doesnt it? But, according to both members, and patients, its a real asset. Saves a lot of bumping and jostling for the patient, a much smoother and gentle ride. Also makes it much easier for SES volunteers to move a casualty, with less physical effort, and risk.
24.01.2022 TREE V CAR........sharing a post from our friends in ORANGE at SES Corio Unit. Happily all involved are safe.
24.01.2022 Did you know that VICSES is the control agency for earthquakes? Today is the Great Shake Out - a global event held each year to raise awareness around earthquake safety. Although it’s rare for large-scale earthquakes to occur in Victoria, it’s important that you still know the steps to take to stay safe during an earthquake, especially if you plan to travel to earthquake prone areas overseas in the future....
