13.01.2022 Superloads on the move from Glen Waverley to Yallourn From Sunday 6 to Wednesday 9 December, two superloads will move from Springvale Road, Glen Waverley to Yallourn in Gippsland. They will be travelling in stages across three nights. Each load is more than 50 metres long and weighs approximately 260 tonnes. At times, the loads will need to move to the wrong side of the road. This means freight operators and motorists in both directions will be impacted. Delays are likely i...f you’re travelling: between Springvale Road Glen Waverley and on the Princes Freeway to Bunyip after 10pm, Sunday 6 December and Monday 7 December. on the Princes Freeway between Bunyip and Yallourn after 10pm, Tuesday 8 December. The superloads will travel on the wrong side of the road for 40km from Main Neerim Rd to Narracan Creek and at 4.5 metres wide the loads cannot be overtaken along this stretch.
