22.01.2022 The numbers are rolling in: (Statistic image is reflective of the whole of Victoria as of yesterday 14th June.) Sale members have responded to a wide range of jobs around our area since Wednesday night. From large and small trees down, blocking roads or access, to damaged roofing, and vehicles in flood waters. ... While the immediate threat is passing, and flood waters subsiding around our area, we ask the public to remain cautious on roads around our area, as soaking ground has a tendency to cause trees to fall over without warning. Crews across the state are still working to clear the damage and trees on a number of roads, and power companies are working hard to restore power to a number of regions still without electricity. A big thanks to members from central and western units, who assisted our local crews on a number of occasions. Stay safe out there!
