24.01.2022 The Victorian Sport Awards, usually held in February each year, are now being planned for April/May 2021 due to COVID-19 with the hope that we will be able to have a face-to-face event. Vicsport would normally seek nominations in November for the Awards but will now seek nominations in February 2021. 22.01.2022 Vicsport offers its sincerest condolences to the Swimming Victoria team and family and friends of Swimming Victoria General Manager Tim Frampton who passed away suddenly on the weekend. A highly respected and much loved member of the Swimming Victoria staff, Tim leaves a legacy for work and friendship that extends throughout the entire sport and recreation industry.

03.01.2022 Unfortunately, due to the current COVID-19 restrictions in place throughout Victoria, Vicsport and GameDay have made the decision to postpone The Direction of Sport in the Digital Age event, initially planned for Tuesday 22 June. Together with GameDay, we will announce a new date soon to hold the event in person and in a COVID-safe environment at Deakin University Downtown, as previously planned. Those that have already purchased tickets to the event have been contacted, please let us know if you haven't been.
