24.01.2022 Bushfire conditions in East Gippsland and Corryong are worsening and Victoria has been declared in a State of Disaster. As much as we were excited to run the VICSWIM program in these locations, unfortunately, Lakes Entrance, Orbost, Mount Beauty and Myrtleford venues have been cancelled for week 1 of the program. Corryong and Bairnsdale venues are currently under review. For updates on your local venue, head to vicswim.com.au/bushfires or follow our Facebook page for cancellations. We would like to thank emergency services for continuing the fight, some who have travelled considerable distances to help East Gippsland and to our New Zealand neighbours for your assistance in deploying firefighters.
