Guest speakers Kate and Tick Everett, Bernie Shakeshaft and Adam Drake discussed the topic of youth well-being. Some excellent work is being done to reduce recidivism and inspire behavior change.

Thank you to Chris and the team at Victims of Crime NT ...for hosting the August networking event. A great evening learning more about the services available to Territorians. To the Alice Springs Golf Club, thank you for supporting the event. With such a great host business and venue, super tasty pizza and some rather unusual weather, it was a fabulous evening! 05.01.2022 SCAM CALLERS - BE AWARE Northern Territory Police are urging the public to be aware of scam calls. Police have been made aware that there has been an increase... in scam callers from number displayed as local police stations. The scam callers are stating they are from the 'Taxation Office'. These phone calls are not from the Australian Tax Office (ATO) or Northern Territory Police. Recipients of these calls are advised to ignore them. Do not provide personal details and do not transfer money to any bank accounts. Anyone who receives these types of calls is urged to report them at cyber.gov.au/ . If you have suffered a financial loss through this type of fraud or other scams, report it to police on 131 444.
