25.01.2022 Sports Taekwondo Victoria would like to thank all referee's, clubs, coaches, athletes, volunteers and families who attended today's Poomsae Championships. Our aim was to provide Victorians players a professionally run event with a friendly non political atmosphere for the Victorian taekwondo community. The board of STV was proud to provide athletes an event like no other harnessing experienced judges lead by International Referee Stephen Boag from Tasmania assisted by IR Am...y Song and a panel of referee's with tremendous experience both as international Poomsae athletes representing Australia and Poomsae Judges. From our yellow belts to our WT divisions, all were scored using the latest electronic scoring system. Its was great to see new players get on the mat and make their mark earning their Trophies and support from us all. We now look forward to our Kyorugi event next weekend following the WT rules headed by IR Denzil Ray and many more IR's from around our country. We thank all who travelled inter state to participate at our event and also would like to thank Hanna Nguyen La for creating such a wonderful lunch for our Officials.
