08.01.2022 Tomorrow, the Victor Harbor Netball Club hosts the annual SAPSASA carnival. Nine schools across the district will be participating and we are excited! If you are planning on coming along tomorrow, please note the following: - The canteen will be open! We have pies, pasties, sausage rolls, hotdogs, toasted sandwiches, water, soft drink, fruit boxes, chocolates and lollies available! ... - Only 6 people will be allowed in the canteen area at any one time. - New public toilets will be unlocked for guests to use - Spectators to stay outside of courts. Only players and team officials allowed on court. - Visitors to maintain 1.5 social distancing at all times. Hand sanitise frequently. Good luck to all teams involved! Don’t forget to pack your brolly!

02.01.2022 Club president Leah Depledge and club secretary Debbie White have been working tirelessly to prepare for our clubs return to netball... Last night, our 11 div 3, Inter Ones and Senior Twos successfully returned to club training under the new training guidelines (and loved every second!) All players were EXCELLENT in following the guidelines, Leah had the protocols prepared and printed for all to see, Debbie worked hard to clean the balls and equipment after each training, the... coaches planned 1.5 distant activities, and each courts hand sanitiser copped a thrashing! Has all the preparation been difficult? You betcha!! So why are we doing it? Netball is more than a game for us at Victor. It is a chance for our young ones to make friends, to learn about teamwork, resilience and commitment. It is a chance for our inters to escape the stresses of secondary school and keep fit. It provides our seniors with an outlet to the stresses of work and uni (where else can we do it if the pubs are shut?!) We are very thankful of the work that Leah and Debbie have put in so far. We ask that all members familiarise themselves with training protocols before they arrive on Thursday! Once you see the smiles on the girls faces as their training starts, I promise this will all be worth it... Have fun, and GO VICTOR!
