14.01.2022 @miriamisfab I was quite shocked after recently reading that a lot of the Valentines Day roses were actually imported from overseas and sprayed with pestic...ides banned in other countries. Whilst unsure of the accuracy of the article I hadn’t ever thought about asking where flowers had come from. So I decided to make things slightly more difficult and requested that I only wanted ‘local organic native flowers’ in future. I didn’t even know whether such a thing even existed After a little hunting this beautiful bunch of ‘local organic native’ flowers was sourced from the florist next to Pasadena Foodland and it made me very happy to support local organic farmers

09.01.2022 **LOCKDOWN UPDATE** Thank you to all of our staff, friends and family for your support through messages, phone calls and those that have been able to pick up so...me of our perishable stock. I am heading in today for a last pack down this morning but I did start the day with a coffee in bed at 8am so that was nice. Although this has almost put us back at square one from the first covid shutdown with lost stock and income, we just have to keep going and we know we have your support. And we at least have been able to pay it forward with sending some of our perishable stock to Meals on Wheels yesterday, and food packs going to the staff at SCDH today. If anyone is struggling for essentials and not able to get to the shops, please reach out and we will be more than happy to help. We are here for you as much as you are here for us.
