21.01.2022 Well, after a very long and emotional 6 weeks (and last 5 years, for that matter) we have closed our doors for the last time. I'd like to sincerely thank EVERYONE who popped in to say farewell and offer some very kind and encouraging words, lots of hugs and some very beautiful cards and gifts. Thank you to my amazing family for your patience and help , especially Mum Joan Welsh for being there every day with coffee runs, cleaning up and a million other things; Kerin Welsh f...or making so many phone calls, doing the online sale of fixtures and awesome moral support; Auntie Nette and Jo Dave Flowersfor the last 5 years of endless help and laughter everyday, Heather Edwards and Angela Hewett for your texts and messages of support ( long phone calls to you both very soon - yay); Sandra Brittain for coming home from Darwin for a week to help us pack up , cleanup and support ( she has sacrificed her amazing tan to come back to the cold); Sarah Morgan and Sharon Stephens for 5 years of work and giggles and putting up with me; and to Tanya Dianne Curtis and Juliet offley for their lovely flowers and hugs at the end of our day and for letting me swear at you - turned tears into laughter - brilliant!! And to olivia, billy and Chris for putting up with a very stressed and depressed grumpy mum and wife but for loving me regardless and getting me through to our new beginning - the fog is lifting and happiness is coming back. Sadly today we announce that our little store is closing down. 5 years of trying my best, but just falling short and not able to make payments has put too much strain on me and my family, so the only decision left had to be to say goodbye and walk away. 02.01.2022 When it's too miserable outside for my poor customers to come in and see us, we get busy embroidering on the awesome Janome MB4 machine and also on the Horizon 9900. Lots of goodies ready for the street party!! Rain , hail or shine we will be open until 8pm on Friday with gorgeous quilt displays, homemade items for sale and machine embroidery and quilting demonstrations.
