24.01.2022 Our new menu had some awesome comments last night, thank you for the feedback. Photo's of some of the new dishes are below. Joker poker is a staggering $3000 tonight! Come in and buy a drink between 6pm and 8pm for your chance to win! The slushie machine has been fired up with a choice of a Harvey Wallbanger or Pina Colada. Don't forget happy hour is from 6pm until 7pm.

24.01.2022 We are opening tomorrow from 11am! Our hours will be as normal, 11am Monday to Saturday and 12pm Sunday. The bistro hours are 12pm till 2pm everyday, 6pm till 8pm Sunday to Thursday and 6pm till 9pm Friday and Saturday. We are only allowed a maximum of 20 people inside, 10 per room. However we have 4 outdoor areas available for drinking or dinning.

22.01.2022 Everyone has been asking for Paige's delicious desserts! So she has whipped up this beautiful lemon saucy pudding with pouring cream on the side, only $8 until sold out. Thank you to everyone who has commented on my homemade biscuits i have been slipping into your orders. I have rediscovered how much i enjoy baking.

21.01.2022 It's only one week till Father's day and we have the perfect way to show dad you care, a two course meal and a beer for only $30! Your choice of chicken piccata or a mixed grill with chips and salad or vegetables of the day a decadent chocolate pudding with pouring cream and a stubbie of dad's favorite beer! Our kitchen will be open from 5.30pm to 8.30pm, pre-orders would be appreciated.

21.01.2022 Our little angel Grace had her last shift with us tonight, she's off to do her gap year in the army and we couldn't be prouder! Not sure how she'll go with a gun or if she will be able to stop herself from firing back a retort when angry, but as long as she doesn't have to be too quick washing up or not talk whilst working she should be fine! Love ya babe xxx

20.01.2022 Paige has been very busy in the kitchen today and has made a beautiful butter chicken that will be served with steamed rice and her house made Naan bread for $20, this special will run until we have sold out or Rodney eats it all!

17.01.2022 We are bringing back a much loved favorite for this weekend's special. Prawn, chilli & bacon linguine! This is a vegetable stock based pasta with obviously prawns, a hint of chilli, bacon & fresh asparagus for crunch for only $20.

17.01.2022 Massive thank you to Julian & Leah who waltzed in this afternoon with a cake and our old chef and good mate Casey to celebrate our seven year anniversary at The Vic! It's definitely been a wild ride, we have met some awesome people, have made some great memories, survived a tumble down the cellar and come out the otherside of lockdown. Our locals, you guy's, have made it special thank you xxx And Casey as soon as i shut the hotel that bottle of Moet is going directly to my belly.

12.01.2022 Our much loved pumpkin pasta is our special this week. Roasted pumpkin, fetta, bacon and baby spinach in a cream based sauce with a touch of sage and a sprinkle of walnuts on top, just ask us to omit the bacon for a vegetarian option, only $18.

08.01.2022 Big Zed's golden syrup dumplings are back by popular demand, eat in or takeaway! We now have more beers on tap as CUB have started brewing our favourites. Happy Hour is back on! Friday 6pm until 7pm and Wednesday 5pm until 6pm.

02.01.2022 I have had a lot of calls over the last few day's from customers wanting to know the laws regarding COVID-19 in regional Hotels. From today you cannot enter a premise without a face covering. You must sign in You can only approach the bar to order a drink or meal You cannot sit or stand at the bar... You must remain seated You cannot play pool or darts as you must remain seated We are only allowed 20 people per room Tables must be no larger than 10 people We must sanitise every chair and table after each use We must sanitise door handles at regular intervals throughout the day Kitchen staff must wash or sanitise there hands before taking meals and after picking up used plates Yep it's a lot of extra work for all of us but we are doing this to keep us all safe xxx See more

02.01.2022 Attention football tipsters! Our grand final party will obviously be a little different this year. For a start it's in bloody Queensland and a night game! The game starts at 7.30pm and so does happy hour here at the Vic for the duration of the game. Traditional football fare will be served at half-time and i will be bringing the slushie machine out of it's winter hibernation! All paid up tipsters will have the option of a full refund or you can roll it into next years competition. All non tipsters are also welcome, as we are still under number restrictions i would ask that you please book a table for the bistro the bar is strictly first in first served.
