22.01.2022 Dear Market lovers, Once again, the Wanneroo Markets is open for business as usual! 9am-5pm Good Friday, Saturday & Easter Sunday. The Markets will not be ope...n on Easter Monday. We have ALL of our fruit & veg traders open this weekend, and a few other selected fresh food providers, as well as takeaway food and some specialty retailers. Please note that the indoor hall (accessible from Prindiville Drive, entrance to the left of Subway and to the right of the ANZ ATM) will be closed for trade. The remainder of the markets will be open, including our East and West Food Halls on each side of the Main Hall. These are accessible from Prindiville Drive, Ismail St, or from the outdoor market end. Subway & Syiok Kopitiam in our East Food Hall WILL be open also, and also Caffissimo, Hawkers Delight and Pinoy Asian Groceries in our West Food Hall. You can access the outdoor section of the markets through our Grand Entrance, from Irwin St car park, behind Spud Shed. There is ample parking! Here you will find specialty retailers, takeaway food and our famous FRUIT & VEG! We would like to reassure you all that we remain vigilant and understand the community concern about COVID-19. Our food businesses are takeaway only, and we have now removed all food court indoor and outdoor seating to allow this requirement to be in place. The bar will be shut as it is one of the category of licensed venues which is not permitted to trade during this time. Beauty and massage services are no longer allowed to trade. Hair salons are NO LONGER restricted to 30 minute visits only. You can come and get a cut and colour as per normal! All other businesses are open as per usual. Wanneroo Markets continues to play an essential role in our community - providing access to shopping and dining as well as essential household items, products and services. Along with our existing protocols, extra measures have been put in place and we have also increased our already vigorous cleaning procedures to include: More than doubling the number of times we clean common areas and touch points (e.g. door handles, restrooms) each day The use of hospital-grade disinfectant for all of these cleanings Regular disinfecting of surfaces and extra cleaning for peak periods is now in place Educating employees and traders on important preventative measures. Signage that reinforces health guideline practices (such as hand washing and sneezing/coughing etiquette). Food sampling for our customers to help themselves will no longer be provided. We also take this time to ask that if you are planning on visiting the Wanneroo Markets in the following weeks, that as individuals, can you please keep the following in mind: Please be mindful not to touch items unless youre likely to purchase them Please keep reusable keep cups, coffee cups and containers at home as theyre not currently accepted within the building Wash your hands Keep your distance Most importantly, if you are unwell, STAY HOME! 03.01.2022 I often get asked or told about others experiences as I produce all natural products and use a very wide range of gorgeous pure essential oils in my products. There are different safe percentages to use on our skin and in our skincare and I am very pedantic about following these scientifically proven doses. I always measure my formulations in grams. Drops are NOT a measurement!
