19.01.2022 The memories keep coming from this time last year over in Austria. We were singing in Stephansdom in Vienna, Herz Jesu Kirche in Graz and St Margarethen. The audiences were so welcoming and we thoroughly enjoyed Mathias Unterkofler accompanying us on the church organ in Graz. Happy Days!

18.01.2022 Cancellation of Carmen and Donations Fund Victoria Chorale’s production of Carmen has been cancelled, as the Melbourne Recital Centre (MRC) has closed until 30 June because of the Covid 19 pandemic. We are devastated that the most exciting and ambitious program we have ever worked on won’t be performed this May. We want you to know that Victoria Chorale is absolutely committed to mounting this wonderful production of Carmen once it becomes safe for audience members, choris...ters and soloists to do so. All ticket holders will be contacted by the MRC about refunds. Please note that the Performers Support Fund mentioned in information provided by the MRC is only for artists performing in concerts co-produced by the MRC. It will not be able to be accessed by the artists involved in Carmen nor other independently presented performances. Victoria Chorale would greatly appreciate any donation you might be willing to make so we can provide some payment to the 11 wonderful professional artists involved in the production: our fabulous conductor, the creative director, and 9 world-class Australian artists. 18.01.2022 We may not be able to attend rehearsals or present wonderful concerts at the moment, but we can look back on some from prevoius years. 13.01.2022 On exactly this day last year, 7th December 2019, Victoria Chorale performed it's last concert called Gloria! Little did we know at the time it was going to be the last one for 12 months, but here's hoping 2021 will be different and we can all get together again. Gloria! was performed at Collins street Baptist church to a sold out audience and a good night was had by all.

13.01.2022 5 years ago, members of Victoria Chorale travelled to Kawana Waters in Queensland to sing in a concert with the Sunshine coast Oriana choir, the Art of Sound Orchestra and Sally-Anne Russell. It was great to travel up there and they then travelled to Melbourne to join us at the magnificent St. Paul's cathedral Melbourne and a full house. A good time was had by all.

10.01.2022 We had a Christmas get together this week, and it was the first time many of us had seen each other since March when covid 19 put an abrupt stop to rehearsals. It was such a good night, and to make it even better, we had the celebrated Sally-Anne Russell to sing a few songs for us and maestro Mario Dobernig was our MC for the night!
